HERAS September Meeting

Monday 11th September

Peter Rea will be visiting the society in September and will begin the new season by giving a talk on "A Panoramic Mars".

And a very enjoyable meeting it was too.  Once again Peter amazed and enthralled us all with the work he's done researching and compiling a fascinating talk.

I agree Rob!  Peter began the new season with a fab talk which was both interesting and informative.

He'd certainly be welcome back any time, although it won't be a panoramic view of something else as there's nothing else he can do a panoramic view of, lol!  I'm sure he'll find something though.

Yeah really enjoyed that one - that guy must be one of the best reasons to send probes to other planets!

Was long but interesting all the way through.

Was long but interesting all the way through.
Didn't think it was that long, about 70 mins, would have been ok for time normally. But didn't notice due to the quality of the material.
