Ok everyone. here's part 2. Please post your answers and please don't keep them to yourself. Once again, the answers will be posted, if there is no-one with all three right, in 7 days time.

1: In which constellation was a supernova observed in AD 1054?

2: What is the common name of Messier 11?

3: Who was the first man to drive on the Moon?

1; Googling for the answer wll be frowned upon. The idea of them is to test what you know, not to test how quickly you can search the internet for the answer. If I suspect you might have, I will respond with an angry smiley! Books are allowed though.

2: There will be a 3 questions, an easy one, a hard one, and one in between.

3: The questions will be left for a week before the answers are provided.

I say yes!

Its a shame though that out of 68 current members that only a handful seem keen in participating in this website.

I probably would have posted but internet is a problem for me right now. Trying to run broadband through 50 year old, 2 core, rubber-sheathed, mouse chewed copper cabling is a distinct non-starter.  -Although I suppose that's what Kingston does over most of the town generally so perhaps I ought not complain?

That having been said, I've been bogged down with the house move, decoration, babies, jury duty, normal work.

Excuses excuses I know but I daresay everybody has a good one!
