Sancton Location Map

For many years, members of East Riding Astronomers (ERA) have met in a layby at Sancton for Friday night observing sessions and members of HERAS and the public also attend.  The location is relatively nearby for most people and the sky is dark.  Arras Hill is one of the highest points around and therefore the area is very exposed, so you need to wrap up warm if you plan on observing up there.  The location escapes some of the major light pollution in the area and traffic is also very limited.
