NASA has a "critical responsibility" to the flying public to develop environmentally responsible solutions to the nation's most pressing aviation problems, Administrator Charles F. Bolden Jr. said Wednesday.
NASA opens Space Station for biological research from NIH grants that take advantage of the unique microgravity environment aboard Station to explore fundamental questions about important health issues.
NASA is seeking information from potential partners who could provide no-cost brokerage services for intellectual property transactions.
Two asteroids will pass within the moon's distance from Earth on Wednesday, Sept. 8. NASA scientists will be available for satellite interviews Tuesday, Sept. 7, and Wednesday morning to discuss these near- Earth objects.
NASA's pioneering use of prize competitions and innovation challenges is a dramatic departure from government's traditional "business as usual."
A NASA team sent to Chile to aid trapped miners will hold a news conference about their work at the San Jose gold and copper mine near Copiapo at noon CDT, Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Students and teachers at the Pinellas County Science Center in St. Petersburg, Fla., will have an out-of-this-world phone conversation with NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
NASA has begun development of a mission to visit and study the sun closer than ever before.
To see what life might be like on a distant planet, reporters need only travel to the Arizona desert.
NASA will commemorate a quarter-century of comet discoveries and discuss upcoming comet encounters during a symposium at 9 a.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 10, in the Knight Studio of the Newseum.
